About the Program
The Visiting Artist Program at Pottery Northwest provides exciting education opportunities for our clay community. The program invites high-level practitioners into the Pottery Northwest Studio, providing our students with the opportunity to learn from a diverse group of artists.
Those selected are asked to give an artist talk and a workshop, and for some, an additional opportunity to exhibit their work in our studio gallery. The length of the visit can vary, but generally the events will take place over a long weekend.
The program provides paid opportunities and travel expense stipends for teaching and exhibiting artists in the field. By bringing in a select group each year, Pottery Northwest provides a platform for ceramics excellence, discourse and innovation.
