On June 4th, 2024, Pottery Northwest hosted its first-ever Celebration of Black Joy. The event brought together an amazing group of people who engaged in a mug-making workshop in our magnificent 8,000sqft facility. The expressions of joy, exuberance, and laughter were felt throughout our studio space. The ceramics workshop was facilitated by Ryan McDonald and assisted by Sierra Bundy. Scrumptious food was provided by Umami Kushi and the event photos were taken by Jordan Lum. We are intent on making more events like this, so please stay tuned!

We believe that clay is for everyone.
